pretty sure it will be a new series with (mostly) new characters in the same fashion umineko is new compared to higurashi, now, I wonder if twe will get lambdadelta's arc, which was hinted a few times in umineko.

Not sure what you mean, but yeah, umineko no naku koro ni mens when the seagulls cry...
