For those who don't know Embalming: The Another Tale of Frankenstein is coming out on November 2nd in the new Jump magazine Jump Square. It's made by Nobuhiro Watsuki who created Rurouni Kenshin and Buso Renkin. But unlike these stories, Embalming is darker and gory also. It's based around Frakenstein and bringing the dead back to life.

It would be nice for Watsuki to make another manga that's at least decent, but I'm not getting my hopes up until I actually read it and it proves its worth. To say that Busou Renkin was disappointing is an understatement and I don't think he's done anything else since Kenshin that wasn't a one-shot or canceled after a couple of volumes (Gun Blaze West or whatever).
I have high hopes but low expectations.

I have read the first oneshot and that alone outshone all of BR for me, although BR is good. John Doe is an awesome character. There's another oneshot which introduces more characters. I have no idea who the main character is going to be but I hope it's John.
