Next thing you know some book title is a mini paragraph long. My god these titles are getting more and more longer.

The length of titles are ridiculous, but I still read some of these if only for the sheer absurdity of the premise from the titles .

Light Novels: No need to make a synopsis and a title when you can put the synopsis in the title for the series. The Ar tonelico games also had pretty long titles too in Japan but not this long.

A good sign of bad LNs and it shows even in anime (Girlish Number, it was music to my ears when Chitose called LNs out).

With titles this obnoxious, it's hard not to automatically assume that it is going to be a shitty novel.

Long titile, but I like the premise. You finished the quest, got the girls, saved the world, and now rule it. Just that you have to keep other heroes from messing up your new world.

Dear ANN staff, thank you for all your hard work.

I really felt like saying it after reading this article. It's news about minor, seemingly not important, details like these that make me feel up to date with whatever's going on in Japan.

Read the name of the article and initially thought it was talking about the length a title was running... this was amusing too though.

"My Girlfriend Failed Her High School Debut and Became a Hikikomori"
"I've Already Saved This World and Taken Its Wealth and Power"

Still long, but abridged enough to acceptable terms. Seriously they have unnecessary stuff on purpose. Something like "My Girlfriend is a Hikikimori" and "I've already saved this fantasy world" would be perfect as titles, and explanatory.

How long until A1 Pictures makes an animation adaptation that becomes the most divisive anime of the year? Laughing

But seriously, I find it cool that ANN goes to lengths to find out about tidbits like this in Japan. Keep it up! Very Happy
