What heck with the movie poster??? It looks like Yamato2525 is making a parody / cameo in the show.

Not quite 2520, more like the Musashi from the Director's Cut of Yamato Resurrection, i.e. another recycled Makoto Kobayashi design. That's spoiler[Space Battleship Galaxy, the next Yamato-class battleship. (sourced from synopsis for chapter 6 episodes on yamato2202.net]
