Barring something crazy awesome from Funimation looks like there's only room for 3-5 more simuldubs from them this season

Really hoping they get that Mongol series and a couple others like vermilion, back street girls and Sirius the jaeger.

The only anime left I'd like them to pick up is "Muhyo to Roujii no Mahouritsu Soudan Jimusho".

I had hoped for Sentai to license one of the fanservice sports shows, but there is no stopping for CR/Funi's virtual monopoly.

Sentai seems more interested in the female-oriented shows this season. Good for them!

...Too bad FUNiRoll is probably gonna get Free S3 and monopolize THAT audience as well. Razz

IMO what is really happening is that they are getting shows that Funiroll is not that interested to begin with, anything that has clear mass appeal will end in Funiroll's catalog if it has not been snatched by Netflix or Amazon first.

If they get it, they’re probably not in a rush to announce it since it doesn’t premiere until August 3rd.

That doesn’t premiere until the Fall, it will probably be announced at AX.

Well anything on Netflix and Amazon will still end up with either Funimation or Sentai, and occasionally Aniplex, for home release. Most of Sentai's bigger titles and certainly the noitaminA titles are sub-licensed to Amazon for first year exclusivity

I'm not saying sentai wouldn't have but if sentai had gotten one or both of those sports shows chances are strong you wouldn't have seen a dub let alone a simuldub. I'm glad more sports shows (echi or otherwise) are getting dubs. More need to happen and this is a good step.
