Suprised they only got 250K more tickets than the number of the copies of the bonus volume that came with the movie tickets there. Was hoping for longer legs so that it could reach at least Naruto Boruto The Movie levels (it did pass Naruto: Road to Ninja I believe).

Definitely. Especially since it wasn’t like the movie was a full release or heavily advertised like the Top 3 Pokémon movies were. I knew people were going to see the movie, but I didn’t expect this many. I saw the very first English dub showing, and all showings after that were sold out in the theatre near me ^^
