I thought this season's "Leap of faith" was supposed to be fripSide last theme song with Nanjo Yoshino as singer. I haven't heard about a 3rd phase lead singer yet so it seems like they managed to record this opening in time before their Final Arena Tour.

Kind of surreal to see a sequel being adapted when the original anime barely even adapted the first series.

The assumption is that people would have read the remaining Vols 2-11 of Grimoire of Zero and be familiar with characters introduced there, like how the blindfolded priest is a major part of Zero and Mercenary's adventures starting from Vol 2.
