Now this is a surprise from the past. I almost never read/watch anything BL, but this series was one of the few that I specifically went out of my way to try to get the source LN (in Japanese).

It's interesting they cast a boy (or at least someone with a masculine name) as Inukashi. Their gender was never confirmed, and though they used masculine speech, I always got the idea that they were female and just passing themselves off as male because of how dangerous it was to be a girl. I don't mind either way, I just assumed they would have cast a girl!
Aaaaanyway I'm gonna go see this thing at least 5 times. I hope they stream senshuuraku like they did for last month's Hikaru no Go musical, or at least give it a bluray release so that the wider world can see this. The cast already looks great (gosh those leads are gorgeous and well-cast), so I've got high hopes. I will be stocking up on tissues--I'm not sure which of the endings they'll go with, but none of them are happy, soooooo...

Imamaki, Kazuki, and Kazuaki! I'm very happy for all of them. It's always nice to see Kazuki on stage. I've heard great things about No. 6 so I'll definitely check the stream out!
