Hmm, should I be concerned that there are a lot of chief animation directors involved? I just hope there won't be another Whisper Me a Love Song production disaster in this one.

Except that I don't think there really is a hard rule that harems are exclusively about a boy surrounded by girls.

That's fairly common, since reverse harem exists.
But for it to be a yuri then...very rare even in manga, in anime then? You can count with a hand probably.

Yep, I can count like 2,5 from the top of my head. And just a few manga. Ironically, Whisper Me a Love Song mangaka made art for these LNs.
