Why do I feel like these delays might have something to do with their recent layoffs.

Very sure those were not the only titles affected. Scooped Up by an S-Ranked Adventurer was at least a few hours late, possibly even a whole day.

The weird thing is they uploaded them to Amazon before their own platform, so it wasn't that the translations and dubs were late.

Heh, that's very odd. And that's all I have to say.

something on the website breaks down almost every week. Or they forget a step when uploading shows or add them to the classic version like they did today. there's only so many times you can put a bandaid on something before it completely falls apart like it has this past week.

Speaking of Conan something that was really weird was on the new dub they put the whole first batch up on Netflix immediately but Crunchyroll only had the first two episodes for a couple days. Don't think it was a long enough wait to be some kind of exclusivity agreement but it was a long enough wait that I ended up just watching them on Netflix instead.

About 30 hours after it was set to stream. CR still listed it under Saturday at it's normal time too.

You can sift through here and find out exactly when the episode was published to CR http://feeds.feedburner.com/crunchyroll/

The site has been a mess for over a week now. A lot of shows are still missing their subs. Silent Witch had its sub on time this week, but the dub was late, and when they uploaded the dub they took down the sub. As of right now episode 7 is listed as dub only even though there are subs and CC, but the option is only available for Japanese audio. Episode 6 is listed as dub only, has an option for subs and CC for English audio, but they only work in Japanese audio.

Yeah, I noticed that, too. I even did an error alert here thinking the show was maybe on a week hiatus like a lot of shows this week, only for it to finally pop up the next day, but still in its normal calendar slot.

Crunchyroll uploaded Episode 18 of Anne Shirley on 3 August. I'm still waiting for episode 19.

That was a scheduled break (probably because the production is a mess), the next episode is this week

It is not related, the show took 2 weeks break.

Also, people complaining about CR site being bad. Have you seen a HiDive one? I am not trying to defend them, but the competition is not much better.

Tougen Anki was another one whose newest episode was late, yet Netflix already had it available.

A lot of shows get delayed during Oban, it's nothing new.

Two weeks back to back is not the norm
