I'm a huge board gamer and have been hoping that the Delicious in Dungeon game would get an English release when I heard it was "designed" by Seiji Kanai. But now hearing that this is actually based on an old game from 1998, that makes me a bit less excited; tabletop gaming has come a LONG way since then. Maybe Kanai did some good development work for it, but considering that Yen Press didn't mention his name in their description, it doesn't make me very hopeful. But we'll see!
Out of the manga licenses, I'm super excited for kuro! I read the fan translations of it a few years back and it was absolutely delightful. Very happy that it's getting a proper English translation now and that they're retaining the full color art. Maybe they'll also do deluxe full-color releases of Shadows House someday.... |
