So it's like Quintuplets but quadruplets while there's less romance and more wholesome.
Wonder if they'll get Aaron Campbell and Adam Gibbs for the audiobooks.

Eh, I think "group of identical multiples" is about as far as it goes. I've read some of the manga adaptation, and it's quite charming -- very solid children's literature. I'm actually not sure it even qualifies as a "light novel", despite the cover images; it's sold under a label that's much less associated with that branding than with "children's books".

It may be related to the otaku subculture's spreading, and recentishly you can often see children's literature have moé-é style cover art and illustrations in Japan.
There are also 'square' people who still think that children's literature should have 'trad' style cover art and illustrations, however.
