You just know that someone involved in Ninja vs.Gokudou has a very heartfelt appreciation for Fresh Precure (I've still gotta watch that season). You love to see Precure appreciation in the most unexpected places.

The whole show is hard in on the Totally-Not-Precure love, going out of its way to have the most obvious parallels between the fictional and in-show stories throughout, it's fantastic.
I understand why people aren't (there's maybe more animation in this teaser than the whole of the show so far), but I really do wish more people were watching, it's great terrible anime, with at least one gonzo moment/development every week that is sure to cause a laugh.

Well, they got my attention now, lol. That was really cool to see and Fresh Orecure has some of my favourite Precure designs.

Have to respect the brazenness of it, they didn't even try to make not-Buki and not-Miki legally distinct lol

The animators probably love Fresh for sure, but Fresh is the most referred to season in the source manga, so I wouldn't be too surprised if that was the original mangaka's favorite season. There's references to the rest of the seasons up to Healin' Good (which I assume was airing when that part of the manga was written), but other than Fresh, the Doki references also end up super obvious with the names of the side characters that are part of the government. The prime minister's last name being Aida was not a coincidence in the slightest.

Did you know the same studio that made two precure late night series with Toei Animation.

I'm definitely thinking of checking out a few episodes myself.
