i don't know why, but i feel tempted to watch this...
might be the fastest i've ever had a show put on my planning list.

The manga is pretty good, though clearly wish fulfillment fluff (though not so unrealistic, since there are doubtless many aspiring manga-creators of all genders in high schools across Japan). Both characters are enjoyable reads.

If it were manga-technique-heavy, like Bakuman., it would be close to My dress-up darling, only for manga, instead of cosplay (I probably bring this up because in the video, the female lead reminded me a great deal of Marin).

I’ve read the manga, and I can see what the anime is going to be. It’ll be nothing amazing, but it will be a fun and sexy romcom with lots of fan service and cute FL. It’ll be your typical genre fare. You know the drill. In one episode, she’s going to fall on him from the stairs. She’ll stick his face in her boobs. There will be a love hotel scene where FL falls on top of ML. There’s going to be a beach episode.

The idea is they are both manga writers and are doing all these cliché scenes for manga inspiration. It’s a paper-thin excuse for the actual mangaka to give us fan service.

Even still, I love a tall, busty FL. This one in particular is very flirtatious and bubbly, but she’s also secretly insecure. It’s cute.

You never can tell though. No one really expected Makeine to be so great either.
