Gotta make a correction here

It's Yoshinori Kanada, not "Kaneda", I know it's an easy mistake to make because of the kanji, but his last name was "Kanada"

I’ve loved all the stuff Koike’s done for the Lupin franchise. It’s been some of the best Lupin in a while. I look forward to seeing The Immortal Bloodline sometime soon and add it to my collection.

Honestly it's kind of weird looking back at just how much the Lupin franchise has exploded since The Woman Called Mine Fujiko back in 2012. And while I'd agree that Koike's movies have been a highlight of this era, I'd also argue that the overall standard of quality -- across the board -- has been exceptional. Truly, it is a golden age of Lupin.

REDLINE was such a fantastic film and I really do wish there was more. The fact that it financially flopped is such a disappointing thing. Easily one of my favorite anime films and I can rewatch it endlessly. The Lupin OVA's were also fantastic and honestly I had no idea he had worked on them.

Nyren: Not only did Redline flop, but when Manga had it, they ridiculed me for suggesting it be entered for Best Animated Film at the Academy Awards.
