even with the mieruko-chan comparisons (and, truth be told, there are several), i honestly had a good time watching this. it was weird how it aired like, in the early hours of sunday. i'm guessing because it's a darker show or something like that...
also - if i'm keeping track - that's like 5-7 shows with a same day dub...in the same season, that's freakin' insane!

This one would be the 9th CR show to have a same day dub. 2nd one that they haven't produced on their own

So was this supposed to be a bit? It wasn't on the dub list at all and then they jumpscare us with a same day dub? Because that'd actually be pretty funny.

And the dub cast list is still MIA.

Haven't seen the dub for myself, but just seeing that Kadokawa was the one that commissioned the dub themselves doesn't have me super confident.

I had the same thought, expected something like Nokotan where all the VAs were super underpaid exploited first time actors recording remotely. Maybe even one of those cheap SEA dubs of mysterious origin. But nope, skimmed the episode and it sounded very competent. I think I hear Kira Buckland so I would assume an LA dub? In other words, probably better than the average Crunchyroll dub

Sure would be nice if Kadokawa would share a cast and crew list for the dub with us sometime soon...

I thought the same thing but apparently they did the same for SHIBOYUGI and that one apparently turned out pretty well?
also no cast list is pretty annoying

I think it's great we're starting to see more and more English dubs funded by the Japanese side! CR especially has a catalog that's so inflated that they can't reasonably dub everything themselves, after all.
Of course, it would be great if they shared casting stuff for this, as others have stated above.
Skimming through the dub myself, it sounded quite nice!

Happy it's getting dubbed, weird they haven't released the cast yet.
