Amasian TV is definitely a service to keep an eye on in the future, as they slowly expand their offerings for their anime channel. Fullmetal Alchemist is a solid pickup for them.

This does remind me that I really ought to get around to watching that mythical Magic Kaito dub they dug up out of nowhere.

To be honest, I never heard of this channel/service. I mean it's not as mainstream or well-known compared to like Tubi TV or Youtube. But I guess this is a win for anyone that want to re-watch FMA: Brotherhood.

Amasian TV is an incredibly goofy name for a streaming platform.

"You. What is your purpose?"
"Am Asian TV Smile"

I hope they add more obscure dubs.

The Animax dub of Brotherhood was notable to me only for casting Lily Truncale as Al. She was also Nagi in Hayate the Combat Butler, so I guess she was their designated dubber for Rie Kugimiya characters.

At least it doesn't have Vic Mignogna in the lead. Laughing

Honestly from the clips I heard the actress that they got to voice Edward is actually pretty good, and so is Lust's. Hughes, Mustang, Hawkey, and Alphonse also sound fine. Unfortunately all the other characters with maybe the exception of Kimbley and Rose, sound pretty bad. Still I'd love to hear the whole thing.

Dunno why, but I can stream it from the Philippines (while on browser though, haven't tested it on a smart TV)

Which is cool because FMA:B's dub was on Netflix PH for a while, then I guess the license wasn't renewed...

They appear to only be streaming that show subtitled.

I'm not sure Animax commissioned a dub for that series to begin with. All of the promos I see on YouTube are in Japanese. By the time it aired, they had switched from dubbing everything to mainly just kids shows (which ended by the mid-2010s) as they were prioritizing simulcasts.

I've watched the dub air on their live linear stream. If you check their channel guide you'll probably find it listed. Not sure why the dub isn't available on their service on demand. It's very clearly an Animax Asia dub. Has that very distinct feel of voice acting by people with a less than fluent grasp on the language they're speaking.

They are streaming the dub of Beelzebub. It just has to be selected from a drop-down on the series page.
