I feel that reading the anime review was nearly the same as reading the manga one from here xD
But jokes aside, for good or bad, I more than know and was prepared for the trope so it didn't surprised me or disappointed me,
the JPs are known for these kind of works that follow one theme that usually run out of steam really early, yet keep going and stick to the safety zones,
Won't say that it's amazing, but for people who know what they're entering into, or experience it for the first time, it probably less bad compared to people who have seen it for the 100th time and don't have tolerance for it or expect something different.
And look at the bright side, it will make us appreciate a work that will move out of the safety net even more (while having some people who wished for it to also heavily criticize it to the point they will ask how it even was allowed to be made, then making the creator recall why they moved to their safety net in the first place) lol.

If they had introduced the whole cast at the start and had them try and sabotage each other over Eeyuu, that wouldl've been a fun watch, like when Runa is introduced and starts causing havoc I was having fun, but it quickly got boring again. Having Haru in the OP sequence and have her for 4 episodes also didn't help much.

True. There was a bit of a spark with Runa since she was far more open about it, and at least got the other two to be more motivated.
Haru's inclusion in the opening meant that it was impossible to take anything too seriously early on. Eiyuu is told to choose at the fireworks, but you can see the walk back coming when one of the four girls had basically just walked into frame at that point.

One of my top 10 favorites from last season. Funny as heck.
