Good. Hope it doesn’t take six years this time…but as long as we get it.

Even if it takes 6 years I'd be happy to get more, eventually.

Since Yuichiro Hayashi and his staff aren't busy with a very long, multi-part season of Attack on Titan this time around, I'm hopeful Dorohedoro S3 will premiere as early as next year.

It’s apparently already in production. Let’s all hope it gets out the door sooner since it probably could cover the last third of the manga, or might need a fourth to wrap it up.

If it was announced right away after the season finale I believe it could take around 2 years, which is a good thing. The plot got more complex than Season 1 so, the sooner S3 drops the better.

S2 of Dorohedoro has been fantastic so I'm glad it's going to get more and I also hope it won't take so long to come out. Physical releases of the first two seasons would also be nice to have....

Very happy to see this news. Dorohedoro is easily one of the most unconventional anime I have watched in years, but always entertaining. I wonder if the third season will adapt the whole of the end part of the manga, or will there be a special or movie to cap it off?

The year 2032 can't come as soon as I'd like.
Better start a time machine.

I was under the impression that this would be a 12 episode season again so when they said next season instead of next episode at the end episode 11 when…that had just happened I may have screamed. I really hope it’s not another 6 years.

Exactly 10 of the 23 volumes are left to adapt. One more season won´t do it. S2 had slower pacing, leading to no skipped chapters this time, and increased production values. They even adapted 2 half-skipped chapters from S1 that introduced the Cross Eyes but the season is also 2 episodes shorter, as the original had an OVA to bring it to 13. Chapters 11 & 32 from the S1 period remain unadapted. This project will take well over a decade to adapt the full manga.

I just hope they keep making the same kinds of choices when it comes to style and music.
