Now that is really bad news. I sure hope there wasn't any ultra personal info on that which was leaked. Changing phone numbers and getting a post office box is expensive enough to stop some of the home live action spam that can result from just the regular info. Can't imagine if they had credit card numbers and log in account info with it.

You can't live without a real virus scanner and software firewall, the event organizers should have known better

Wow, that is awful news. <_<;

As insane as Japanese otaku are, I'd be getting ready to move ASAP. >__>

Hopefully, fans will respect the privacy of their favorite artist.
I know Ryusuke Hamamoto makes routine trips to cons and expos in the U.S. I'd hate to see this affect his schedule if anything were to happen.

Just realised we don't have an entry for Keito Koume's Uta Kata manga.

[edit]Although I may have noticed before, or someone else did, as after putting together all the data I got "This title has already been submitted and awaits approval".[/edit]

Can I get Yoshitoshi ABe's address? I'm going to send him a mouse pad every month.

Why? Can't imagine mouse pads being symbolic or such.

seriously though, i don't see many people actually doing anything with this information. mangakais aren't exactly idols in Japan.

Maybe not so, but it still doesn't change the possibility that *someone* would track down so and so for whatever reason, good or bad (as in, some nut might try doing something stupid or worse...)

The bit I find most revealing, is why were such extensive records held on a computer used to access file-sharing.

All computers in Japan use winny. Or at least all computers owned by geeks who run doujinshi conventions.
