Loved the manga which I highly recommend anyone reading. I don't know if I'm looking forward to the live-action adaptation. I can see a lot of reworking on the main characters' relationship in the live action so it can appeal to the mass audience - basically making their relationship strictly platonic. I'm a skeptic on live action adaptations both as tv series and movies - like Death Note was a really poorly done adaptation. Then again, I thought 20th Century Boys was a pretty decent movie even though a lot was changed from the manga series.
