Ok, my friends talk highly of this title and I want to know what it is, and weather or not its any good. The title sparks my interest, and my friend Devi says its Angel Sanctuary-esq. Is that true? I want to know everything I can.

Demon Diary is an excellent series!
It's manwha about a ditzy demon lord named Raenef his teacher Eclipse, who's trying to get him to act more "demon-like". I absolutely love the artwork and the humor in this series. The beginning is fun and entertaining, but the last couple volumes of the series gets pretty dark. Finding out what Demon Lord Raenef IV had in mind for Eclipse and Raenef V was surprising.  I love Demon Diary! Eclipse is so hot!  *cough cough* that aside, I have all 7! It's a short series, but it is worth it! My friend told me about it, I wasn't interested at first, but now I'm hooked!

Demon Diary starts out well enough but loses its story focus in spots. Parts of it feel rushed and undeveloped.
The ending is satisfactory but the potential for the story line was never realized. Enjoyable read if only for the bishonen and biseinen. |

I agree! Whenever the newest volume came out, i bought it, but I wasn't satisfied when I finished reading it. The artwork is definitely, very good, and I think that the only reason why it didn't turn out to be yaoi is because of the switch in authors. |

Ooooh it would have been SO much better as a yaoi...  I mean there are little slash hints here and there, but hardly anything. It's almost annoying really, but yeah, Kara's art is beautiful

Actually, I'm not exactly sure whether it would've been yaoi, because the original author WAS a guy, and guys wouldn't write stories like that...would they? |

 I don't know either, but there ARE hints and it IS considered by some a shounen-ai if anything. 'M just saying it had good yaoi potential.

It would've been nice...but not extreme. Light yaoi is okay with me, but I don't like "heavy" yaoi as much. The art was very well suited for shonen ai, that's for sure.

Hai, it had good plot potential V.V and lovely cheek touching moments. I would have been satisfied with just one kiss, really.

There was a kiss at the end of the first volume. Doesn't that satisfy you? Although it was a short story...
I'm thinking that it would've been a memorable kiss if they did kiss, which they didn't... Now I'm curious about what would've happened if they did kiss, why? Shounen-Ai, you're messing with my mind here... I wouldn't have had a problem with it if it did happen, because Kara's art is so damn beautiful.

Nuu I mean an Eclipse/Raenef kiss (I did like the kiss in Vol 1 though) >.< hehe or I'd like to see Krayon and Eclipse... I dunno, nothing would happen really, it'd just be eyecandy and Erutis would go: HA I TOLD YOU! Then sit down. >.< Yeah... just for the eyecandy. Kara should do an artbook...even though the end half of 7 sort of is, I want to see color... >.<

...Krayon and Eclipse? You are going out of your mind there. But Krayon looks like a girl, so there isn't much to see there. I wish it would continue, so I could find out if he marries that girl or live with Eclipse until his death. But if there is an artbook, I'll be there to buy it.
It should continue. this conversation has left me thirsting for more details... I hope they don't make an anime of it, though. I hear (from ANN ) that some of the Korean authors are getting their work animated. Demon Diary's artwork is great as is, and anime graphics always differ from the manga.

But yeah... Git off meh Eclipse/Krayon, I can dream! >.< hehe or we can go back in time and do some shota con between Eclipse and Raenef V .... I dunno I'm flipping through vol. 6 right now.... GOD there are so many little tiny shounen-ai hints >.< I know, there REALLY needs to be an artbook! This series MUST CONTINUEE probably won't, but hey... and there's like NO doujinshi for it either Oo of course no one can measure up to Kara.... I think Vol 6 is my favorite just cause of the fun slashy things in it, ne? Hehe. OOOH now I'm mad I want there to BE MORE~~! He's NOT marrying that STUPID girl  *grinds her to a pulp* He's marrying ECLIPSE!
