I'm not too sure how the name is said... meaning, is it said "Gundam Zero Zero," "Gundam Double Oh," "Gundam Oh Oh," how is it said?
Thanks! |

I pronounce it "GUNDAM DOUBLE-OH".
Jst like Gundam 0080 is "DOUBLE-OH-EIGHTY", 0083 is "DOUBLE-OH-EIGHTY-THREE", and 08th MS Team is "OH-EIGHTH MS TEAM". I suppose it is a bad habit to pronounce zeros as "O", since "O" isn't a number, but eh, that's language for you. |

I'm quite sure that during the Japanese broadcast's sponsor announcement they called it Gundam Double Oh. Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I doubt it.

Actually, it was pronounced "Gundam Double-doh-ahhh". Engrish can be pretty hilarious like that. |

I believe that's "wa" you're thinking about. "Gundam Double Oh wa, tanoshii..." As in "watashi wa". Perhaps I got too used to anime's frequent use of Engrish, but that Double Oh sounded really clear to me. And here we have an amateur (me) discussing Japanese. Don't blame me if I'm wrong about the example, though I'm quite sure that's "wa" not "ah". |

LoL just kiddin' in Anime Insider they said it was pronounced as 'double oh' I agree with you egoist it could be 'wa' at the end there. |

I call it "Gundam Double Zero" it never occurred to me that they were o's instead of 0's. Wait are they o's and not 0's? I am confused

The "0"s a being pronounced as "oh" like 007 being called "double oh seven". "Oh" is simple another way to say zero. And I agree with what most have been saying. I've always called it "Gundam double oh" rather than "Gundam zero zero"
I've always heard it called "eighth MS Team" at least that's how I remember the promo's for it. Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oajULdUMGvQ |
