Scheduling a con these days is a no-win situation. For every person who can come, there are like 300000000 who "would have, but I can't make it that weekend!" A week earlier, this conflicts with NYAF/NYCC a week later, it conflicts with something else. Every weekend in America is a con. Nowadays cons simply have to pick a weekend that works for them. Hopefully enough people will come to this one, so they can run it again next year. 
In the meantime, can I just say, what freaking *amazing* guests they have? It's like one of everything - Japanese indie manga, American comics, webcomics, independent Graphic Novels, professional illustration...I wish I could draw. |
