I know this sounds strange, but is there some sort of double meaning in the Viz Logo? I'm talking about the red-style one where the words 'Viz Media' are written out. When turned on it's side, the v and the i seem to make 'ra' in Katakana. I was wondering if this was intentional, or just coincidental.

I would say it's entirely coincidental, since the Z doesn't turn into any discernible katakana to complete the meaning.

I mean, by that line of thinking, you could also say that the V on its side looks like "フ" in katakana, if you don't factor in the I.

It's just stylized. Don't sweat it.

Thank you very much; I always tried to read something into it.

Speaking of Viz's logos, what is the 'eyeball with horns' logo supposed to represent? Is it a Yokai? My mom actually thought it looked like InuYasha's ears sticking out of an eye Laughing

I have no clue what that little eye's supposed to be. Laughing I'm just glad they dropped it. I like their new logo much better.
