I do think it's stretching it a bit that people are just starting to notice that Otaku-kun has been hanging out with *both* class idols given that people seem to watch the idols under a microscope.

I think it slipped under the radar because Kuro-gyaru-chan is bubbly and friendly with everyone and Otaku-kun was sitting right behind her, so her talking to him would have seemed normal. However it got a lot more noticeable sitting behind Shiro-gyaru-chan since she doesn't talk a lot in general, and not at all to boys. Especially not in the relaxed friendly way she was talking with Otaku-kun.

Anybody seen Baka Test and remember the FFF Inquisition? The butt-hurt, lonely hood wearing guys who captured and tortured anyone who looked like they might have any kind of romantic connection with a female?

Gee...wonder why my mind went there all of the sudden...

That was a fun sleepover episode. Love talk, classic movies and even some serious conversations were had (including Amane being honest about her interests). Kudos to Seo for answering with both when asked who he would date in the class. Also kudos to Genichirou for being a very chill dude, he keeps the order but also encourages the gang just having fun together.

I'm not saying it was totally not explicit what with the two females sharing a shower, but it was the least explicit, non-lingering shower and co-ed sleepover I've ever seen on an anime. I don't have a problem with spice, but I also like that this anime is light on the spice given its likable and innocent (maybe oddly innocent, but it works) vibe.

I thought the stay awake contest was cute.

Not a bad episode but probably the weakest thus far for me. It is welcome to know how the girls got to meet each other and that the road to them becoming friends was not all that smooth at the start.

What surprised me was the time frame. If I'm understanding it right, Amane and Itchy'd only known each other for a few months max prior to the first episode, and maybe even for a shorter span than that.

Me, I liked it as much as I've liked every other episode.

Imagine if that picture of Otaku-kun and Shiro-gyaru-chan, and a sleeping Kuro-gyaru-chan got out at school.

Their classmates would be shocked but somehow I think that the situation would be quickly contained. The girls can be surprisingly direct/daring at times and they would not accept a situation like that. It also helps that the classmates seem pretty chill (some of them business savy).

Episode 10 was a fun festival and cosplay episode. Said cosplay involving all three main characters was a bit of a surprise though (not a bad one). Seo once again choosing both girls with his actions was not a surprise, it was a fun moment when he met a fellow Kiramon fan.

Geez, I couldn't get on this site for 5 days, and now it's taking forever to call up a thread, so I might not be posting much.

It was a pretty fun episode. Lil sis is a good supporting character, and seeing Amane slowly breaking out of her shell is probably a bit of a bigger kick for me than the Itchy dominated episodes. Not that I'm shipping or anything. I think this show works better as an anime about friendship.

Agreed that them just having fun together as friends is the main draw. That said, things are slowly heading in the romance direction. Nobody is ready to admit their feelings yet (not even to themselves) but it is becoming increasingly obvious that they are there. Even for Otaku though I suspect that will be a whole can of worms given how insecure he is.

Normally when an anime gets to episode 11, I'm hoping for a season 2 if it's a show that I've enjoyed as much as I've enjoyed this one, but with shows with multiple romantic leads it's always a tossup, especially if the show is a comedy.

I'd love to see a season two of The Shy Hero and the Assassin Princesses for example, or Dealing With the Mikado Sisters is a Breeze.

But there's always the danger of season 2s like Saekano and Haganai,

This one, I'm not so sure. I do know I won't be bitterly disappointed if this anime ends directly with all three holding hands during the firework festival with mostly innocent smiles on their faces, and then....

Of course we'll not see this in the anime this season, but I'm praying for the author to make it a "Reiwa Romance", ending with a "harém".

These last few episodes have really seemed to drag because production seems really determined to make sure the season ends on the beauty pageant/fireworks show.

Slowly is right. Small manga spoiler spoiler[we're only about 1/3 of the way to where the girls start legitimately considering romance.]
