Does anyone have any additional information regarding this announcement? I was curious to know ...
- Is the series being canceled or has it reached its natural ending point which Kobayashi and SSM/Kodansha had planned for?
- If it is being canceled, was the decision the publisher's, Jin's, or both parties'?
- How did the tankoubon sales for Ichiro Heian compare with the sales for Natsu no Arashi? with the sales for School Rumble?
- How did the SSM serial sales and ratings for Ichiro Heian compare with those for Natsu no Arashi? with those for School Rumble?
- Does Jin have a fourth series planned yet?
These and other questions were unfortunately not addressed by the news article. I have been unable to find the answers to these questions myself despite trying to hunt for info online, both in English and in Japanese. I thought I'd go ahead and open up a thread for the article and see if anyone here might be able to answer some or all of these questions. Thanks.
