OK, if the 20th Century Boys films are getting such low B.O totals, how are they doing well enough to have sequels?
Does less mean more in terms of yen or are these films on very limited budgets? Someone in this forum knows the answer, right?

Are those low box office totals for a Japanese film?

I'd say the numbers are quite good. The two weeks where 20th CB movie 2 was on top reported two of the highest three box office totals of 2009.

I hope we can start getting the 20th Century Boys movies in America. I've just started collecting the manga, it's great.
