Woah, the first and second 20th Century Boy films? I'm jealous. I've seen the first already, and it's a very good adaptation of the manga, which is probably my current favorite manga. The casting was excellent for the movie, too, even for- maybe even especially- the kid versions of the characters. The younger Yoshitune looks just like his manga counterpart (almost makes me feel bad for the kid), for instance.
If we can only get these on DVD in R1.

Just saw Skycrawlers at the HIFF. I have to say it is easily one of the deepest movies I have ever seen...

Coming out next month I believe. Interestingly enough, the R1 release includes French subtitles.
