Legendz is what Viz is renaming Dr. Slump as. Sad

Legendz=Viz's attempt to spawn another Pokemon/Yu Gi Oh. Anyway, I noticed in the press release that they said Dr. Slump parodied Western pop culture, so does that mean the material's dated?

I've watched the first episode of Legendz so I can comment on that. First of all, Legendz is not Dr. Slump renamed. They're completely different. Legendz is a gag manga with a lot of slapstick and is one of the more childish mangas on the Jump line. It was a bit unmemorable though so I can barely remember any specific plot details.
