Hmm. This might be a reason to get a 3DS finally but I'm also a bit annoyed at the Layton series for the epic cop-out that was game 3's plot. Of course, there are a few other games that sound interesting so I will probably take the plunge eventually.

Same here... the ending of the third game strongly implied that there was supposed to be another story afterward (chronologically). |
