Volume 13 basically corresponds to everything in "The End of Evangelion" between when Eva-01 finally awakes, and when Instrumentality starts.
Volume 14 is alleged to be the last one. While some criticize the slow pace to mean that "it will go on forever", really, slowly but surely they're reaching the corresponding finish of "The End of Evangelion". The Mass Production Eva fight concludes in Volume 13, we're drawing to the end. Without too many spoilers, things go drastically differently for Asuka in this version. |
