What is the longest you have watched anime in one sitting? This dose include snack breaks and bathroom breaks. My personal all time record was watching Martian Successor Nadesico and Generator Gawl in one sitting. I started at 10 in the morning and ended and ended at 4 in the morning the next day. 19 hours total, luckily it was summer and no school + no job = anime binging. Twisted Evil

lol that is MUCH longer than me!!
This thread is really funny... sorry i had to add that. Anyway i had just bought the Rurouni Kenshin DVD Box Set (Tales of theMeiji).. and i started at about 9, 3 boxes 0f timtams, 2 slabs of chocolate and about 5 cans of coke later i had watched 5 of the 8 DVDs altogether. Of course I was soooo disappointed afterwards because it cost so much and i had basically watched it all in one day!
Anyway, I didn't time myself but i think you probably beat me Razz

I got a boot of Gundam wing Crying or Very sad but at the time i didn't know that it was one. So i watched about 5 hours straight one night and another 5 later. No very big but....i like to watch my anime in solitare. I cant have people around me. I kick any one in the room out...unless...they have seen, know, like, or respect, what I am watching.

I watched all episodes of Evangelion in one sitting. I started out thinking it was just another giant robo show, but by the end I no longer wanted to live! heh... crazy show.

Anime wise, my best is 7.5 one Saturday, and 7.5 on Sunday, for a grand total of 15 hours: It was some Noir, Figure17, and hack//Sign: I feel like such a novice Embarassed

And I know it's not anime, but I did have a Lord of the Rings movie marathon and watched all three DVDs (one with the extra footage added) in one day. Even the couch got sick of me. I ate pizza, (pop-corn, chips, cookie dough{frozen}, grapes, and most of the contents of the 'fridge), and drank pepsi, coffee, and anything else with a caffine content high enough to keep me awake (it took 12+ hours); which explains all the bathroom breaks (and means I need a TV in there too).

13 hours roughly. My friend and I watched all 26 episodes of Vision of Escaflowne. I had just got the box set, and he saw it on my shelf and remembered seeing some of it on FOX, and being disappointed when it got canned. So I popped in the first disc and since it was a Saturday and summer and there was nothing else to do, we ended up having a marithon. I unwittingly turned him into an anime fan, after that he wanted to see more of my collection.

My longest run was 20 eps of Magic Knights Rayearth. After I finished watching them, I never wanted to see any more MKR. I must've OD'ed on it. Having learned the lesson, I try not to repeat anime binges like that.

Since I didn't reply in the other thread last January, in August 1994, when I was 19, I went to a comic book convention in Montreal and sat through about 12 hours of varied anime for each of the two days (which means about 24 hours total, for those of you in Rio Linda), and, in 1998, at my old anime club, there was another marathon weekend but I wasn't much interested in the anime they were showing in the main room, so I watched about 8 hours of Sailor Moon in a side room.

Now that I'm 30, I just can't marathon like I used to. I set aside a weekend last August to watch most of the anime I saw at the convention 10 years prior, as kind of an anniversary, but I think I made it to about the third episode of Tenchi Muyo before I got bored and wanted to do something else. Not that I can't watch Tenchi anymore, just not all at once. I even just got the third season box set of King of the Hill and couldn't watch more than about 4 episodes of that in one sitting.

Longest I watched anime.

It would either be when I watched Fushigi Yuugi episodes 1-52 or the time I was sick and watched Macross 7 1-49 my friend let me borrow.

Just last monday I was sitting at home feeling the post-Cristmas blues and thought it would be cool to rewatch The Vision of Escaflowne. So I did. I started about 1 pm and finished around 4 am. I only took a break for dinner and to catch the first 15 minutes of Conan (which is all that's worth watching anyway). It's a pretty good series to marathon - no filler or flashback episodes.
