Hey All
I have a question for anybody that has the Love Mode Volume 6. I remember years ago before it was licensed that the scanlation site doing it offered an edited version which didn't show a swastika on one of the characters clothes. I was just wondering how TokyoPop/Blu handled that particular image and if they edited or retained the original
Thanks~

Thanks~ | Yeah, I remember that. Unfortunately I don't have my books with me at the moment but I'm almost positive they removed/replaced the swastika on Reiji's Nazi uniform in that cosplay illustration so that it just looks like a very, uh, "severe" military uniform. Either that or I've just learned to subconsciously suppress it when I see it (seriously, Japan, I understand the appeal of men in period military uniform but does it have to be that specific one?). If no one else jumps in who knows for sure, I should be able to give you a definitive answer when I get back with my books (like, next week-- sorry).

Just out of curiosity-- is there a particular reason you want to know? Like, is it a make-or-break in deciding to buy the series? (Hope not, as I think it's pretty good either way.) If you don't want to answer that's okay too. I'm just being nosy.

Oh definitely not. I've been following Love Mode for years and years, even before it was translated. I only have Volume 2 as of right now, as I can't ever find it in manga stores where I visit. Since they're all released now I figured I'd wait and try and find a good deal online of the full series. So far no luck, haha.
It was just one of those things that I thought about recently that I was curious to find out

Almost an entire week later...
I looked at my book and yes, they did remove the swastika from Reiji's armband in that illustration. It's just a greyish-white circle.
