I think the article as it stands is currently a bit misleading. It's more that he's retiring from the production aspect of CIRCUS and going to start focusing on the managerial aspect, as indicated by the text in the image that was posted with the article.

His "graduation" is from the creative aspects of his work. Thus, he will be wrapping up some of those projects in the near future. |
