So it's kinda like Fullmetal Alchemist volume 23. Cool. It's not like this series was some deep, psychological masterpiece to begin with. Bring on the bullets and carnage!

Yeah, pretty much. The first volume was pretty nice with the hard-boiled, gritty vignettes, but even there the stories were just excuses for action and cool visuals. So why pretend?
