anyone have this yet? how does this work exactly? i can't figure out how they plan to air some of these shows uncut on basic cable, especially Abenobashi Magical Shopping District.
is it gonna be a premium channel or something? |

I have it in Philadelphia on on Demand. It works like pay per view in that it's a totally separate menu from the normal cable menu. Everything they have showed has been uncut. They can do that because it's not basic cable. You have to have digital cable to use it and it's considered pay per view, even though it's free.

I have been hearing that some people in New York have gotten an e-mail from AN say that it'll be coming to their area. I'm still waiting for DirecTV to pick it myself.

You guys that have the network, who's your cable provider?
I ask because here Adelphia pretty much has the monopoly and we don't have any other options. Even though I have digital cable they make us pay extra for the on demand channels, which we free for about a year while they were "testing" them. So if and when it does come my way (The Cleveland area) I may just have to start paying the families cable bill if i want it. |

You have basic cable right? I don't even have that. THere's one TV in the house, with the public channels; and I'm running on 56k. There's not a whole lot I'm missing, well, because I've never known what I"m missing. |
