Stuff similar to the Pillows (MID CAREER)???

I fell in love with the pillows after seeing FLCL.

I've been listening to their releases (1993-2000) and some of the rereleased/cover stuff.

I generally don't like their new stuff or their REALLY old stuff, it's the middle releases that are best.

Any bands similar to them?
