I just finished watching the first 12 episodes of Sengoku Basara on Netflix, but then an extra episode popped up (Clash in the Inland Sea of Seto), and since I always go by what ANN says, I was confused by the fact that the Sengoku Basara page only showed only 12 episodes and no OAV page. So did ANN make a mistake or is it an OAV?

The first season was originally 12 episodes. The "Clash" episode as well as the three chibi-shorts were exclusive to the DVD release.
I guess no one's bothered to update the encyclopedia page. Things like that tend to fall through the cracks I suppose
