It's a possibility that it's "Negi," or green onion. |

Yeah, that's definitely it. In Japanese "ne" and "gi" are single characters, so "Gine" is "Negi" spelled backwards. |

If it's Bardock's crew, then it should be Fasha! Buuuuut by the sound of it (she has a gentle nature) looks like Toriyama probably botched that up... |

Both dark and funny! Ah, right, she's not the meat, I guess. So it's just kind of weird then. And apparently, another person has forgotten about Radditz.
If that was the origin of the special I saw, it didn't expand his backstory, it demolished it and built a super saiyan apartment complex over it. |

What about Bardock's father?
Goku's grandfather. And and, Bardocks mother. Goku's Grandmother. Mabye u can make one of Vegeta's parents too. But, i'm still looking forward to it.

I knew that. I was joking of course, lampooning the fact that even with all those movies and specials, actually seeing a female saiyan was so rare that for all intents and purposes they might as well not existed. The woman in the Bardock special didn't last long at all and had few if any lines of dialogue. ---------- On another note, I think it is really lame (and boring) that Goku's mother is going to be a gentle person. Typical Japanese sexist mindset at play where women are expected to be demure housewives, not bloodthirsty battle-hungry warriors. |

It's a dream come true! I'm so happy. Female Saiyans are so scarce I thought we would never get that much information about them, but now I get to see what Goku's Mom was like. I'm so happy and super excited for this.

Agreed. Was really hoping she was going to be some awesome badass, but alas, females, even saiyan females, just have to fit the stereotypes... |
