That moment when the english dub has caught up to the japanese dub. That should not have happened. Come on J.C. Staff.

What do you mean the English dub caught up with the Japanese version?

Think about it.

If you are talking about an ongoing TV Slot anime. Then maybe your argument would hold water. However, this is a series that is released and produced in intervals. THe first Index came out in 2008 and it took us until 2012 to release it. Now this season came out in 2010 and we are just now seeing it. There is no "catching up" to be had. Since this isn't an ongoing show, but rather a projects gets a "new" installment ever once in a while and could possible not get any more. It's like stating that the dub of Attack on Titan has caught up with the Japanese. It's not a given that more will be produced.

And yet you comment in a subject you dont like, huh?

Im still patiently awaiting a EU release of the first seasons of Index and Railgun....

Those new roles i do not care about that really, aslong the cast of the first seasons remains.

a natural response, the anime is in fact a rather bad adaption of the books. the series main appeal is the collaboration of many unique story elements, and deeply realised lore for said elements. with the anime cutting out most of the exposition as well as character motivations. the only arc that was done right was the sisters arc in Railgun S with the rest simply showing a run by of the basic events with little to no substance.

just look at musijime and oriana's motivations which weren't even explained properly. or even their abbilities for that matter.

I disagree, I feel like the anime did a rather fine job of adapting the novels. Some internal monologue was cut out here and there, but the important stuff was kept in, which is what really matters. Accelerators internal conflict in season 2 was done especially well in the anime.
