This temporary poll is more of a referendum on the most notable series and franchises that have appeared in the last 5 years (2009-2013). To me the series listed are of high overall quality, but you are welcome to make suggestions. In my opinion, these last 5 years have produced a lot of high quality content.

Needs to include very important series of the period like Yamato 2199 and K-On!!

Madoka is my favorite though, a true masterpiece because it works on all levels. In fact, I don't even thing any series will ever top Madoka for me.
