Are they actually splitting it into two seasons (Like Shirobako S1, Shirobako S2 as two seperate existances like Sword Art Online 1 and 2 ) or are you just mixing arcs/cours (generally synced together but also not the same) with seasons like so many people do?

So far the series has managed to retain a realistic take on workplace inter-personal relationships, in my opinion. I hope it will still be true for the remainder of the show.
