Welp, no loss there. Those were all terrible games.

Okay, I feel bad for the poor programmers, QA, etc who all lost their job when it's all management's fault for being awful. But nobody's going to miss Spark Unlimited.

I'm sorry for the people who lost their jobs, but good riddance. Spark Unlimited was truly one of the worst developers out there. Now, hopefully Idea Factory and Compile Hearts will follow their path.

rofl feeling sorry for the loss but wishing other companies to close down. Hypocrisy at its finest. Although fortunately it won't happen anytime soon with Idea Factory and Compile Heart considering that their games usually sell decently both in Japan and overseas.

Of course this will suck for the people working there but and my heart goes out to them but.. well, as a consumer I don't feel like much as been lost.

Just because I said that it's sad that people lost their jobs doesn't mean that I'll miss Spark Unlimited or sorry for studio. Fewer crappy developers is always better for the industry, besides, talented people who worked there now can find a job at actually good teams.

More like cost a dime to make, to the point that it's almost impossible to lose money, even if only two and half man buys their games.

Maybe something good will come out of this. There were cases of when a company closed down, the laid-off employees tries to continue and started a new company.

Which may either end with them being let go or the new company shutting down as well and may even eventually end with those individuals quitting the industry all together. So much for attempting to put a positive spin on something that's generally bad and very rarely has a positive outcome.
