A friend of my gf and I was there and she sent us pics of him. Pretty awesome. There's this one older guy who does a simply spot on amazing Master Roshi and goes to Otakon almost every year.

Does it get crowded over there? This looks really neat and impressive and all, but I do fear that someone or something could get in the Nimbus's way and make him fall.

Dragon Con is known for a couple of things:

The downtown Cosplay Parade (that's why most attendees bring costumes)




and the numerous hotel bars and all-night fandom theme parties (that's why there's lots of grown-ups) Laughing




Yes, alcohol is allowed. There's even a Dragon Con alcohol wiki.

Ah, interesting. That probably means there are plenty of people who will respect people with cosplays like this one and will give them the right of way.

Anime Expo and San Diego Comic-Con both have issues of attendees with a lack of respect to cosplayers, though it usually extends only to harassment, but you get a few people who will shove anyone out of their way too, especially at SDCC.
