It's funny because I know Shuichi Ikeda more as Shuichi Akai than Char.
Also I doubt this game will make it over to the states or the UK, so hopefully it isn't too text based so I could just get the Japanese import...

haha to me Shuichi Ikeda is more as Shanks then a fusion between Akai and Char (that would be epic xD)
and about the game it looks really similar to Breaker 2 which you can play normally if you know Katakana at-least but you won't enjoy the full potential of the game specially building the gundam which is one of the key parts of the game (and is ridiculously time consuming but really fun) . It's the best Gundam game tho !

Even building is not that hard, it's the story you'll miss out on and it is completely yawnworthy in this installment, just import the game.
