There's also Chi's Sweet Home starting next month, and we even had a couple of lesser known cat shorts before that. So yeah, there's definitely no lack of cat content in modern anime. :3

I don't think it is, and we won't get a Yotsuba& anime because Azuma thinks it wouldn't work in anime form. (I definitely disagree with him on that matter, especially after works like Non Non Biyori worked just fine.)
