I think it's worth noting that Ochiai's father, Hiromitsu, was a famous professional baseball player and coach.

The story of Gurazeni seems quite interesting. Alas, I doubt it'll ever see the light of day in the U.S., as interest in Baseball anime still seems pretty low, despite the recent rise of interest in Sports anime overall.

Looks like it might be really in depth in baseball strategy which is awesome! Too bad non-fujoshi sports anime are considered unprofitable in the US, otherwise I'd be looking forward to reading this. We MIGHT get the anime though, so I guess I'll get to check it out that way.
