Unless the intention was to appeal to the anime-watching crowd, this ad could've been done in live-action while still having Kotono Mitsuishi in the role. She's one of the most photogenic voice actresses in Japan, IMO.

Perhaps the mother may inspire Hiroki-san to become an auto-insurance agent to help other unfortunate people that have been through an auto accident.

It was hard for me to pick out Mitsuishi-san's voice in this role. She's quite talented, but I agree with people against the style of this ad.... anime style is cool (never seen anything like it) but yeah... live action I think would have been better.
