That's is all down to ignorance. Aside from Yakuza fans, mnost people only learnt about pachinko from when Konami stopped making games and focused on pachinko. Pchinko has been around for years, and even Anime and video game themed pachinko has been around for sometime. But because of Konami people have warped ideas about it.
